Piping is a device for conveying gases, liquids or fluids with solid particles by connecting them with pipes, pipe couplings and valves. Usually, the fluid is pressurised by a blower, compressor, pump and boiler, and then flows from the high pressure to the low pressure of the pipe, or it can be conveyed by the pressure or gravity of the fluid itself. Pipelines are used for a wide range of purposes, mainly in water supply, drainage, heating, gas supply, long-distance transport of oil and gas, agricultural irrigation, hydraulic engineering and various industrial installations.
