Exhibition Background

Organized by the Ministry of Petroleum of Iran, this exhibition was first launched in 1995 and has since grown into the largest and most influential oil, gas, and petrochemical equipment exhibition in Iran and the Middle East. The event features an expansive scale, with 5 international halls and 19 local enterprise halls.

The 30th Iran Oil Show in 2026, held from May 5-8, saw a significant surge in international participation following the lifting of sanctions. According to an Iranian oil ministry spokesperson, 600 foreign companies attended - tripling the 2025 figure of 195. The spokesperson noted that not only were Chinese exhibitors highly active, but Western companies also participated in much greater numbers than previous years. Additionally, 1,200 local Iranian companies exhibited.
