Song Yinli, vice president of China Private Science and Technology Promotion Association and president of Science and Technology Innovation Branch of Pump and Valve Industry, made a report on the work of the Council. Pump valve Industry Science and Technology Innovation Branch (referred to as Pump Valve Science and Technology Innovation Branch) is a direct branch of the Civil Promotion Association, the purpose of the branch is to build a scientific and technological innovation exchange platform from the dimension of scientific and technological innovation, and promote the scientific and technological innovation and achievement transformation of the whole industrial chain of the pump valve.

President Song also pointed out that the purpose of the meeting is to strengthen the construction of the association, carry out industrial information exchange, with the lead of leading enterprises, highlight the empowerment of science and technology, guide the docking of the pump and valve market, and achieve the healthy development of the whole industrial chain. In the face of the situation that the key core technologies of high-end pump valves are subject to people and the key products rely on imports for a long time, the Association should give full play to the advantages of scientific and technological experts of the Association, fully mobilize the forces of government, industry, research, and use, guide the industry to layout the industrial chain around the development of new quality productivity, improve the resilience and safety of the industrial chain supply chain, and improve the level of materials, processes, and tests. During the meeting, several motions were reviewed and voted through, including hiring Comrade Xiong Jianxin as a senior expert consultant of the Pump Valve branch; Mei Changjiang, Yu Shurong and Shi Weidong were elected as deputy Chairmen of the Expert Committee of China Private Science and Technology Promotion Association; Selected and added Comrade Jing Yiping and other 48 experts as the pump valve technology experts of the Expert Committee of the Democratic Promotion Committee.
