In his speech, he pointed out that stainless steel valves for water supply will be an important development trend in the industry in the future. In order to better adapt to the needs of industry development, the Water Supply and Drainage Equipment Branch has organized the formation of the "Technical Conditions". At the same time, in order to better implement the standards, this standard preparation not only includes experts from production enterprises, design institutes, and water companies, in order to listen to multiple opinions and effectively combine market demand. We believe that with the joint efforts of all members of the preparation team, the "Technical Conditions" will definitely promote better development of the industry.

Zhang Hongyan, a senior engineer of China Engineering Construction Standardization Association, delivered a speech. She introduced the basic situation of China Engineering Construction Standardization Association in her speech. She stated that with the national standardization reform, the number of group standards continues to increase, meeting the development needs of the industry. The compilation of group standards should first address the issue of "whether there are any" and exceed the national standards in terms of requirements. At the same time, attention should be paid to the coordination between various standards. Group standards are market standards, and efforts should be made to achieve high practicality and truly solve industry problems.

The reviewing experts believe that the "Technical Conditions for Stainless Steel General Valves for Water Supply" stipulate the requirements for the physical and chemical properties, corrosion resistance, hygiene performance, etc. of materials. The preparation of the "Technical Conditions for Stainless Steel General Valves for Water Supply" has guiding significance for the design, manufacturing, and inspection of stainless steel valves for water supply. Its content is scientific, reasonable, and highly operable, and is in line with current relevant standards, filling the gap in the general technical conditions for stainless steel valves for water supply. This standard has reached the international level.
